Answers to what patients ask most.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, we welcome new patients of every age, from a child's first checkup to adult exams and senior care. Booking a first visit takes about five minutes by phone or through the form on this page.
What happens during a first visit?
We start with a conversation about your dental history and what brought you in, then a gentle exam, low-radiation X-rays if they are needed, and a clear plan. Nothing is rushed and no treatment begins without your sign-off. Plan on about an hour.
Can you help with a same-day emergency?
Yes. If you are in pain or have had an accident, call (613) 656-1400. We keep urgent slots open every working day and will see you as soon as we can.
Do you accept the Canada Dental Care Plan?
Yes. Bring your CDCP letter or member card and a photo ID to your first visit and we will bill the program directly for covered services. We also work with most major Canadian insurers and offer direct billing on most plans.
I get anxious about the dentist. Can you help with that?
You are in good company, and we do not expect anyone to power through it. Tell us when you call and we will adjust the visit around what makes you comfortable: pacing, breaks, the order of things.
How often should I come in for a checkup?
For most people, every six months. We may suggest a different interval depending on your gum health and history, and we will tell you why.
